The Head of Market Intelligence is responsible for producing market intelligence reports to assist in evaluating performance assessing future trends to help management in decision-making S/he will lead efforts in product/process developments as it concerns Internal and external data sourcing and analysis for decision-making, The Head Market Intelligence will also keep the management abreast of internal and externa customer and competitors dynamics as it affect the businesses.
Lead the development and implementation of a strategy for market and industry intelligence collection, analysis and sharing across the group
▪ Develop and prepare analysis to summarize trends, propose potential implications and identify new opportunities and threats in the market place.
▪ Analyse data for potential signals of marketplace disruptions
▪ Maintain a database of information to ensure timely provision of required data/information
▪ Track and monitor Group’s performance and develop reports and presentations to keep management informed in a timely manner. This includes the use of reporting tools
▪ Periodic market research
▪ Develop and maintain automated reporting dashboard for all businesses
▪ Remain abreast of market changes and inform management of same in a timely manner
▪ Develop Customer life cycle analytics
▪ Develop and manage Price intelligence tracker and support pricing decisions administratively.
Requirements
A minimum of 10 years of Market Research and competitive analysis experience with an understanding of market research techniques.
▪ Experience assisting in the development and implementation of strategic market plans.
▪ Proven ability to handle multiple priorities and projects of various scale in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.
▪ Proven analytical and IT skills to use modern tools to analyse data
▪ Ability to build structured quantitative models.
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Economics or related equivalent work experience at managerial level.
▪ Strong analytical skills. Ability to proficiently use Data visualization tools like Power BI and Tableau
▪ Proficient with Microsoft Office. (Word, Excel(Master User) Access, PowerPoint).
▪ Strong presentation skills with the ability to effectively articulate complex issues in a clear, concise, user-friendly format.
▪ Strategic thinking, Planning and project Management skills
▪ Strong people and change management skills
