Mission:
To continually review MTNN’s Operating Model and drive the design, development and maintenance of sustainable organization effectiveness strategies, methodologies and processes to improve the attainment of business goals and standards.
Description:
Advise ExCom on manpower imperatives, determine manning requirements and ensure efficient allocation of manpower for organization effectiveness.
Support ExCom to drive the Cultural Operating System and Vital Behaviors required to improve business performance.
Partner with Excom to evaluate business goals and standards to identify opportunities in quality, productivity or efficiencies related to strategies, talent, technology and/or processes and translate to medium- and long-term goals.
Partner with ExCom to drive business process improvements and performance.
Oversee the deployment of organizational effectiveness strategies, initiatives, programs and interventions to support enterprise business strategy.
Anticipate organizational impact of current and future business strategies and develop interventions to minimize risks and increase organizational performance.
Drive culture-shaping initiatives and maintain a pulse on the alignment between strategy, culture and talent.
Assess and diagnose organizational dynamics including culture to generate evidence-based insight into the root causes of business, organizational, and operational issues.
Review impact of initiatives across the business and develop impact plan strategies and business solutions as appropriate.
Serve as strategic liaison for key organizational initiatives between divisions and their stakeholders, both internal and external.
Assess resource requirements for the department and develop budget for the Organizational Effectiveness & Change function and regularly monitor resources of the department ensuring they are allocated and utilized in a cost effective and financially disciplined manner and in line with budget provisions.
Apply a structured change management approach and methodology in respect of changes impacting the people side of the organization, clearly identifying groups being impacted by the change, associated risks and anticipated points of resistance and developing appropriate change strategy to address related issues.
Work with teams to integrate change management activities into overall people related projects and conduct change readiness assessments as required, and implement actionable and target change management plans (including communication plans, sponsorship roadmaps, coaching plans and resistance management plans).
Lead management teams and process owners to identify, prioritize, plan and implement strategic process improvement initiatives.
Review the application of HR policies across the organization, ensuring uniformity and consistency and regularly review the impact and validity of HR policies.
Develop a sustainable organizational culture that enhances employee productivity and oversee the management of the year on year performance of all dimensions of the Group Culture Audit.
Develop and manage Organization Development solutions for organization effectiveness and ensure organization design is aligned to employee growth and development.
Review the performance of individual team members and complete appraisals in accordance with the employee performance appraisal procedures and time schedules.
Guide team to follow a disciplined approach for measuring, managing and improving capabilities of company-wide processes.
Serve as mentor and subject matter expert for other employees seeking business process improvement standards, techniques, and tools.
Identify, evaluate and track the development needs and performance of staff within the department, providing opportunities for staff to build on the company’s investment in their training and improve productivity.
Education:
First Degree in a Social Science discipline
Professional qualification from a recognized HR Body
A Masters degree is advantageous
Fluent in English
Experience:
Minimum of 12 years’ experience comprising:
Senior management track record of 3 years or more; with at least 3 years in relevant sector/industry as per relevant role
Experience working in a global/multinational enterprise (understanding of emerging markets is advantageous)
Prior work experience across diverse cultures and geographies
Work experience preferably in the Consulting, Research & Business Development or Human Resources profession.
