Condition Based Monitoring Technician
Job Purpose:
The role will execute action to implement CBM task offshore and onshore, this include the review, first analysis and optimization of CBM technique in Al Shaheen.
Your main duties will be to: -
- Prepare offshore mission for CBM collection (either from offshore or onshore) with work order, tools, round route, integrated operational planning (IOP) and issue relevant Offshore Task request form (TRF)Execute CBM tasks offshore such as monthly vibration round, monthly infrared inspection of pressure vessel, exhaust etc… , infrared thermometry survey of electrical cabinet, leak survey, passing valves survey, oil sampling collection, grease sampling collection, performance test of pumps.
- First level of analysis of vibration and infrared data collected.
- Preparation and closure of CBM notification and work order in Company Computerized Maintenance and Inspection Management System (CMIMS).
- Issuance of follow up correction notification based on CBM findings with CMIMS.
- Keep vibration database updated by gathering new vibration footprint after corrective maintenance work.
- Keep leaking and passing valve register updated.
- Promote CBM technique within offshore maintenance team.
- Issue periodical reports on CBM activities (monthly vibration report, monthly performance follow up etc…).
- Provide specialist CBM assistance when it comes to use CBM tool (like balancing, infrared detection etc…).
- Must be willing to participate in Crisis Response Training and to assist during Emergency Response Situations if required.
Profile
Ideally, you will have Engineering e.g., Mechanical degree qualified (or equivalent), with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in CBM and Maintenance, with an industrial background in an engineering discipline (such as Mechanical or Rotating Equipment).
Relevant Work Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience with at least 5 years offshore level on-field equipment in diversified oil & gas.
- Highly motivated, flexible in work location with a positive outlook and strong interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proven client-facing skills.
- Proficiency in English (spoken, written and reading).
- Medically fit to travel to offshore oil & gas platform based in Qatar.
- User Knowledge of SAP module PM.
- Experienced with oil & gas industry (could be from downstream).
You will have good interpersonal and organizational skills, as well as, a good level of computer literacy and be proficient in Microsoft Office.
