About the role
The Newcomer Support Programs Intern will assist the Afghan and Ukrainian Newcomer Support Programs (ANSP & UNSP) at the International Rescue Committee. Working hybrid, you will help connect eligible refugees with vital services, support caseworkers, and ensure accurate data collection across IRC platforms.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct outreach to Afghan and Ukrainian community members to inform them about available services.
- Assist caseworkers with research and community mapping to strengthen referral networks.
- Enter client and touchpoint information into IRC case management databases.
- Create outreach materials and support the planning and promotion of educational workshops.
- Maintain accurate data records to meet reporting requirements.
Required profile
- Strong interest in humanitarian work and supporting refugee integration.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail‑oriented with ability to manage multiple tasks.
