Material Technician – Warehouse & Store Operations

About the role

The Material Technician will manage store and receiving operations, ensuring efficient inventory handling, movement, and logistical coordination to support plant operations.

Key responsibilities

• Receive incoming shipments from forwarders, vendors and assembly plants, perform visual and document checks, generate Goods Receipt Slips and update system transfers.
• Maintain store KPI reports on a weekly and monthly basis and update daily transaction data.
• Execute receiving, issuing, data entry, item loan, inventory monitoring and replenishment using SAP, WOS, TED and other applications.
• Issue general, direct and indirect materials or spares to support laboratory and operational needs.
• Ensure inventory integrity through regular cycle‑counts and stock‑take activities.
• Communicate with requestors, provide feedback on material issues and uphold EHS and 5S standards.

Required profile

• Willingness to work 12‑hour shift patterns, including weekend and normal shifts.
• Experience in a store environment and material flow management.
• Proficiency with PC applications, especially SAP and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to support cycle‑counting, stock‑take and Lean continuous‑improvement projects.
