Marketing & Communications Manager – Luxury Resort

About the role

The Marketing & Communications Manager will partner closely with the Sales & Marketing Manager to drive brand awareness and bookings for One&Only Nyungwe House and One&Only Gorilla’s Nest. This role blends strategic campaign development, media planning, and storytelling across multiple channels in an ultra‑luxury resort environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Sales & Marketing Manager on all marketing initiatives for the resort.
• Develop and execute strategic, creative campaigns that showcase ROI across owned and paid media.
• Plan and buy media across digital, print, and social platforms.
• Create content and storytelling for website, email, collateral, editorial, and social channels.
• Lead e‑commerce activations and produce sales‑marketing collateral, press materials, and guest‑facing branding.
• Maintain One&Only global branding standards for photography, video, copy, and on‑property activations.
• Manage internal and external communications, including social media calendars and press releases.
• Build and nurture strong media relationships.

Required profile

• Prior agency and/or resort experience with a strong understanding of ultra‑luxury brands.
• Excellent writing ability and a keen sense of brand tone.
• Proven ability to work with a commercial focus and meet tight timelines.
• Strong media relationships and collaborative mindset.
