International Data Processing Consultant for 2026 Cambodia Health Survey

About the role

The International Consultant will support the National Institute of Statistics (NIS) in finalising the 2026 Cambodia Demographic and Health Survey (CDHS). Working remotely under the Senior Technical Consultant, the expert will ensure that all CAPI data management, cleaning, and statistical processing meet international DHS quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee CAPI system maintenance and data transfer using CSWeb.
• Conduct final data cleaning, validation, and recode file production.
• Prepare statistical files and archives for the CDHS final report.
• Provide technical guidance to NIS staff on data quality control.
• Ensure documentation complies with UNFPA and DHS standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience in large‑scale household survey data processing.
• Familiarity with CAPI platforms and questionnaire integration (QSF files).
• Strong understanding of DHS data standards and statistical reporting.
• Ability to work independently and remotely with minimal supervision.
