About the role

3M is seeking a Sales Account Executive to drive adoption of its Advanced Materials products within the Industrial and Energy markets. The role focuses on generating end‑use material approvals and building strong relationships with OEMs and tier‑1 suppliers.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead spec‑in activities for 3M Advanced Materials with Industrial and Energy OEMs and their tier suppliers.
  • Develop and execute action plans to secure material approvals.
  • Gather and share domestic and global market intelligence to shape division strategies.
  • Promote Advanced Materials internally across 3M divisions and externally to customers.
  • Maintain a company vehicle for local travel and comply with pre‑employment motor‑vehicle checks.

Required profile

  • Current, valid driver’s license.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum seven years of experience in Industrial, Energy, Aerospace, Automotive or Defense as an Application/Product Development Engineer, Materials Engineer, or Sales Engineer.
  • Experience working with senior management of large corporations.
  • Understanding of industrial specification processes.
