About the role
The HR Operations & Systems Specialist will ensure smooth HR processes and maintain the integrity of employee data across our HRIS platforms. Working closely with HR Business Partners, Payroll, and internal audit teams, you will deliver high‑quality service to employees while safeguarding confidential information.
Key responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders through efficient workflow management.
- Configure and test small‑to‑medium changes in the HRIS (Workday) and manage the HR Connect tool (Jira).
- Triage first‑level requests, assign resources, and ensure timely resolution.
- Maintain accurate employee data, conduct data audits, and support corporate governance requirements.
- Generate company‑wide and ad‑hoc reports, contribute to executive dashboards, and support external reporting (e.g., Stats Canada).
- Create training materials and resources for system users.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and document procedural updates.
- Assist with audit requests and implement recommended changes.
Required profile
- Post‑secondary degree or equivalent experience.
- 1‑2 years of HRIS experience, preferably with Workday.
- Bilingual in English and French.
Required skills
- Workday HRIS configuration and testing.
- Jira (HR Connect) administration.
- Data reporting and dashboard creation.
- Data audit and governance procedures.
