About the role

Join Checkout.com’s Graduate Tech Operations program and develop foundational technical and problem‑solving skills while supporting the payment infrastructure that powers billions of transactions worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Act as first responder for alerts from monitoring systems, analysing and troubleshooting incidents across AWS and Cisco environments.
• Own incident resolution, collaborating with senior engineers to fix complex technical issues and prevent recurrence.
• Contribute to Infrastructure‑as‑Code initiatives, using tools such as Terraform to automate deployments and responses.
• Work closely with Engineering, Security and Application Support teams to ensure rapid resolution of service‑impacting events.
• Follow and improve ITSM and operational processes to meet SLA standards.
• Communicate incident status and updates clearly to stakeholders across the business.

Required profile

• Curious, motivated technology enthusiast with a degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Graduated by July 2026 or within the last two years.
• Foundational knowledge of cloud technologies; AWS certification is a plus.
• Familiarity with Cisco environments is advantageous.
• Eagerness to learn Infrastructure‑as‑Code principles and tools like Terraform.
• Strong troubleshooting skills on Windows and macOS platforms.
• Collaborative, can‑do attitude with excellent communication skills and ability to work under pressure.
