About the role
We are seeking a native‑level New Zealand English editor to review and optimise existing blog articles for a global fintech brand operating in money transfer and remittance. The freelance position focuses on improving content quality, SEO performance and relevance for the NZ market.
Key responsibilities
- Review and optimise existing blog posts (up to ~1,500 words each).
- Incorporate target keywords, improve internal linking and update outdated information.
- Ensure content meets NZ English standards and aligns with the tone of a consumer‑facing fintech brand.
- Follow SEO briefs and content plans provided by the client.
- Deliver edited files in the agreed format within strict deadlines.
Required profile
- Native‑level NZ English speaker with strong editorial experience.
- Solid understanding of on‑page SEO principles.
- Experience editing finance, banking or regulated‑industry content preferred.
- Detail‑oriented, fast and confident making editorial decisions with minimal guidance.
Required skills
- On‑page SEO (keyword usage, meta structures, content hierarchy).
- Content editing and optimisation.
- Familiarity with fintech or financial services terminology.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and deliver in the required format.
