About the role
The Development Manager serves as the primary link between Resettlement, Asylum, and Integration (RAI) program sites, the Resource Acquisition and Management (RAM) team, and External Relations fundraising units. The role ensures that private‑funding proposals are clearly articulated, tracked, and supported throughout the full grant lifecycle, helping to expand high‑impact services for displaced individuals.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the development of private‑funding opportunities in collaboration with RAI sites, program teams, grants coordinators, and finance.
- Prospect, engage, and steward a growing portfolio of private‑sector donors supporting RAI programs.
- Strengthen systems and processes to ensure timely delivery of donor commitments and high‑quality reporting.
- Develop concept notes and full proposals for private donors, prioritizing Impact @ Scale initiatives.
- Coordinate donor solicitation strategies with External Relations and manage OTIS entries for all assigned opportunities.
Required profile
- Experience in private fundraising, grant development, and donor stewardship.
- Ability to collaborate across multiple internal teams, including program services, technical units, and finance.
- Strong organizational skills to manage the full grant cycle from concept to post‑award reporting.
