About the role
The International Rescue Committee (IRC) is seeking a Data Collector to support its emergency health response in Sebha, Libya. The role involves gathering high‑quality data from project sites, conducting monitoring and evaluation activities, and feeding insights into program improvement. You will work closely with the Monitoring and CRA Senior Officer and contribute to community feedback mechanisms.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct field‑level data collection, including monitoring visits, focus group discussions (FGDs) and key informant interviews (KIIs).
- Enter and verify data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Support regular Community Feedback Mechanism (CFM) sessions, surveys and capacity‑building activities.
- Assist in data analysis, interpretation and reporting of daily findings.
- Maintain documentation and adhere to data protection, confidentiality and safeguarding protocols.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Science, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in field data collection and basic data analysis.
- Strong attention to data quality and ethical standards.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Experience using ICT tools for digital data collection.
- Ability to conduct FGDs, KIIs and community surveys.
