Cybersecurity Specialist – Remote (Hourly Contract)

About the role

We are seeking a Cybersecurity Specialist to join our remote team on a short‑term contract. The role focuses on identifying security vulnerabilities, improving threat‑model reasoning, and supporting advanced security research. This position offers flexible, asynchronous collaboration with experts in systems programming and cybersecurity.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and review content for security vulnerabilities and threat patterns.
• Design, solve, and evaluate complex cybersecurity problems with real‑world applicability.
• Support the enhancement of model reasoning around security threats and attack vectors.
• Work asynchronously with a team of domain experts in systems programming and cybersecurity.
• Contribute to classification and evaluation workflows related to security research.

Required profile

• Strong experience in low‑level programming languages such as C, C++, or Java.
• Deep knowledge of cybersecurity concepts, including web security and attack vectors.
• Familiarity with vulnerability classification frameworks such as OWASP or CVEs.
• Excellent attention to detail and pattern‑recognition capabilities.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to pass an enhanced background check.
