Cyber Assurance & Information Security Officer

About the role

The Cyber Assurance & Information Security Officer supports the IT Risk Head in safeguarding the bank’s digital ecosystem. You will lead assessments of cyber and information security risks across outsourced service providers and internal units, ensuring robust risk mitigation and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct Cyber Risk Assessments (CRA) for outsourced service providers and recommend mitigation actions.
• Lead Information Security Risk Assessments (ISRA) to identify, evaluate, and address security risks across business units.
• Assist in Technology Risk Management by identifying failure causes, assessing impact, and driving remediation.
• Develop and monitor governance, reporting, and compliance dashboards for cyber security and risk management.
• Act as escalation point for third‑party due diligence, ensuring alignment with the bank’s security policies.
• Maintain and evolve IT assurance frameworks, policies, and standards to meet industry best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field.
• Experience in cybersecurity, information security, or technology risk management, preferably within financial services.
• Background in outsourced environments and supplier management.
• Proven track record developing and implementing security strategies, policies, and standards in banking.
• Relevant certifications such as CISA, CISM, or ISO 27001 are a plus.
• Strong presentation, oral and written communication skills.
