Business Developer – Pay with Transfer

About the role

PalmPay is looking for a Business Developer to join its Pay with Transfer team. You will be responsible for expanding the merchant network, driving product adoption, and delivering revenue growth through targeted prospecting and relationship management.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and target high‑potential merchants across multiple market segments using online directories, industry events, and referrals.
• Initiate contact, build rapport, and schedule demos to showcase PalmPay’s suite of payment solutions, merchant loans, and collaboration tools.
• Conduct thorough assessments of client operations and payment workflows to uncover pain points and propose tailored solutions.
• Prepare customized presentations that highlight features, ROI, and benefits specific to each merchant.
• Develop and maintain long‑term relationships with key decision‑makers, ensuring ongoing satisfaction and loyalty.
• Lead negotiations on pricing, terms, and agreements, securing deals that align with company policies.
• Collaborate with product, development, and support teams to address client queries and ensure smooth implementation.

Required profile

• Proven experience in B2B sales or business development, preferably within fintech or payments.
• Demonstrated ability to acquire and retain high‑quality merchant accounts.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills.
• Results‑oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

• Base salary of 70,000 plus transportation allowance of 20,000.
