Associate Lead Tax Specialist

About the role

Join Ørsted’s Transfer Pricing Operations team to deliver high‑quality transfer pricing documentation and support multilateral controversy projects across the company’s global renewable‑energy portfolio. You will own key parts of the documentation process, from gathering business input to interpreting legislation and drafting audit‑ready files.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review contemporaneous transfer pricing documentation, including scoping entities and conducting functional interviews.
• Analyse transactions and business activities from a transfer pricing perspective to support appropriate pricing and documentation.
• Support discussions and disputes with tax authorities by coordinating inputs, clarifying facts, and drafting responses to enquiries.
• Build transfer pricing awareness and provide guidance through presentations for non‑tax stakeholders.
• Collaborate closely with finance, legal, and business units to translate complex facts into clear, audit‑ready documentation.

Required profile

• Solid transfer pricing experience from an in‑house role, consulting, or tax authority, with hands‑on documentation and stakeholder‑management exposure.
• Ability to work in a structured way, take ownership, and meet agreed timelines without compromising quality.
• Strong communication skills with both tax and non‑tax stakeholders; comfortable facilitating functional interviews.
• Motivated by complex cross‑border topics and capable of turning ambiguity into clear conclusions.
• Fluent spoken and written English, able to produce concise documentation for internal and external audiences.
