Android Developer – Motion & Animation Specialist

About the role

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is seeking an Android Developer with a strong focus on motion graphics and animation. The role involves creating and maintaining animation components for Android, iOS, and Web SDKs, ensuring they work seamlessly across devices and platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain animation components across Android, iOS, and Web SDKs and their demo applications.
• Author motion assets in Adobe After Effects for Lottie export and integrate Lottie files into Android, iOS, and Web platforms.
• Collaborate with designers and engineers to meet responsive design standards and layout adaptability.
• Apply platform‑specific performance profiling to ensure smooth animation playback on a range of devices.
• Conduct end‑to‑end testing to validate animation behavior and performance across OS versions and form factors.

Required profile

• 2–3+ years of hands‑on mobile development experience on iOS and/or Android.
• Prior exposure to motion graphics or animation workflows for digital platforms.
• Proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator for creating motion assets.
• Experience with Lottie animations, including authoring, integration, and cross‑platform debugging.
• Proficiency in Swift and SwiftUI for iOS development.
• Proficiency in Kotlin and Jetpack Compose for Android development.
• Experience with SDK packaging, version control, and framework distribution.
