Aircraft Engine Surface Repair Technician

About the role

Join Pratt & Whitney’s aerospace manufacturing team in Singapore as a Surface Repair Technician. You will refurbish aircraft engine components using polishing and surface‑preparation techniques, supporting high‑quality standards and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Perform polishing operations with bench‑mounted equipment or hand‑held tools to restore engine parts.
• Support surface preparation processes such as blasting and finishing.
• Potentially operate new robotic technology machines after training.
• Participate in Environment, Health & Safety (EH&S) programs and adhere to safety procedures.
• Contribute to CORE (Customer Oriented Results & Excellence) activities and other tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Required profile

• O‑levels or NITEC in Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 2 years of experience operating machinery or working in a manufacturing environment (candidates with strong interest but no experience are also welcome).
• Ability to understand and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Basic oral and written English proficiency.
• Willingness to work rotating day and night shifts and overtime when required.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of MS Office applications.
• Familiarity with SAP (preferred).
