Systems Analyst II

About the role

FNB is looking for a Systems Analyst II to translate business requirements into detailed system designs, focusing on API development and database architecture. You will work in a collaborative, innovative environment that values curiosity and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret business requirement specifications and create detailed system design documents.
• Develop, document, and maintain scalable REST or SOAP APIs.
• Design efficient relational or NoSQL database schemas and enforce data integrity standards.
• Conduct system requirement risk assessments and recommend process improvements.
• Build functional interfaces between business systems and ensure seamless integration.
• Collaborate across teams to enhance delivery, innovation, and cost‑efficiency.
• Monitor expenditures, identify cost‑saving opportunities, and manage risks within your area.
• Compile progress reports to support informed business decisions.
