Service Technician – Military Trucks

About the role

We are seeking experienced Service Technicians to support the maintenance and repair of military‑grade heavy‑duty trucks in Singapore. The role involves working on‑site at army camps, handling mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems on vehicles such as engines, gearboxes, transfer cases and winches.

Key responsibilities

• Disassemble, inspect, re‑assemble and test mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic components of military trucks.
• Perform engine, gearbox, transfer case, axle and winch repairs according to manufacturer manuals.
• Execute retro‑fitting tasks using technical drawings and statements of work.
• Source spare‑part numbers and repair information from electronic parts catalogues and after‑sales programmes.
• Diagnose electrical faults with OEM diagnostic computers and determine corrective actions.
• Use specialised tools and follow safety and quality procedures while working on customer sites.
• Maintain workshop equipment, tools and housekeeping standards.

Required profile

• NTC 3 certificate in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience maintaining heavy‑duty trucks or similar vehicles.
• Proven ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical blue‑prints or technical diagrams.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer‑oriented attitude.
