Senior PUE Buyer – HC

About the role

The Senior PUE Buyer will lead purchasing engineering and project purchasing activities for CS‑WB related TTM and non‑TTM initiatives. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to meet quality, cost and delivery targets while supporting material strategy development.

Key responsibilities

• Act as purchasing project manager for TTM, coordinating with cross‑functional teams to achieve quality, cost and delivery goals.
• Contribute to Technical RPP projects and support material field‑strategy development.
• Lead technical discussions with suppliers, provide cost estimations for new parts and features.
• Drive AQP processes with PUQ and suppliers, select suppliers and implement material strategies for new TTM sourcing.
• Manage make‑or‑buy decisions, create purchase and tool orders, and maintain SAP records.
• Utilise purchasing IT tools such as SupplyOn, Pilum, eISIR and Sciforma.
• Handle initial part approval (ISIR) and handover to procurement and logistics.
• Develop business plans for project‑related tooling and align globally with PUE‑X and other functions.
• Lead internal improvement projects to optimise cost, quality, speed to market and customer satisfaction.
• Coach junior team members as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• At least 8 years of purchasing experience, preferably in manufacturing or the automotive industry.
• Strong knowledge of metal, rubber, plastic parts, PCBs, cables and cost calculation.
• Proven ability to work in international teams and travel domestically as required.
• Excellent English communication skills.
