Senior Project Manager

About the role

Seven Consulting is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead a flagship, multi‑million‑dollar transformation project. You will own the project from charter through benefits realisation, ensuring it is delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Own and deliver a flagship project of approximately A$10 million, managing scope, schedule, budget and quality.
• Build and align a cross‑functional team of sponsors, SMEs and partners around transparent KPIs.
• Maintain crystal‑clear status reporting using rigorous controls, real‑time dashboards and plain‑English updates.
• Coach junior project managers, share best‑practice playbooks and drive continuous improvement.
• Adapt delivery approach—waterfall, agile or hybrid—based on project needs.
• Provide steady leadership under pressure, keeping the project on track during challenges.

Required profile

• Proven track record delivering projects of A$10 million+ for top‑tier clients.
• Strong stakeholder management skills that turn sceptics into allies.
• Demonstrated leadership of cross‑functional teams; people would follow you again tomorrow.
• References highlighting integrity, direct communication and calm under pressure.
