Senior Manager, Transfer Pricing

About the role

As a Senior Manager, Transfer Pricing you will lead critical components of 3M’s global transfer pricing program. You will act as a strategic partner for tax and business stakeholders worldwide, ensuring that transfer pricing policies align with operational activities and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development and interpretation of 3M’s transfer pricing policies.
• Provide technical leadership on transfer pricing implications of business changes.
• Ensure alignment between transfer pricing policies, intercompany agreements, and operational activities.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for transfer pricing expertise within assigned areas.
• Mentor and develop tax and transfer pricing team members, building overall capability.
• Support internal controls, governance processes, and financial statement disclosures related to transfer pricing and Country‑by‑Country Reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Tax.
• At least ten years of experience in transfer pricing within a multinational corporation or accounting firm.
• Advanced degree (MBA, MS, JD) and/or professional certification (CPA, EA) is a plus.
• Experience in a large, matrixed, global organization.
• Strong technical knowledge of US Treasury Regulations 1.482, OECD Transfer Pricing Guidelines, and international tax principles.
• Proven ability to manage complex, multi‑country projects and engage senior stakeholders.
• Demonstrated judgment, accountability, and ownership of outcomes.
