Senior Manager Quality

About the role

Shifa International Hospitals Limited is seeking a Senior Manager Quality to lead its quality assurance and patient safety initiatives. This full‑time, on‑site position is based in Islamabad and reports directly to the Chief Quality Officer.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and oversee the hospital‑wide Quality Improvement and Patient Safety Program.
• Lead the Quality team to achieve departmental goals and compliance requirements.
• Establish, implement and continuously improve a corporate‑wide Quality Management System (QMS) aligned with ISO/JCIA standards.
• Develop and update the organization’s Quality Improvement Plan, incident reporting, and staff training processes.
• Conduct root cause analysis for sentinel and adverse events and drive corrective actions.
• Monitor and report Quality Indicators and KPIs to senior management.
• Plan, coordinate and execute internal and external quality audits, including accreditation surveys.
• Promote integration of quality initiatives across all hospital departments through education and stakeholder engagement.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MBBS, BDS, PharmD) or relevant MSc in Healthcare.
• Extensive experience in healthcare quality management and patient safety.
• Proven track record of leading quality teams and managing accreditation processes.
