Senior AWS Cloud Architect

About the role

TeamWork is seeking a Senior AWS Cloud Architect to own the end‑to‑end design and delivery of its AWS platform. You will lead greenfield initiatives, build modern data and AI solutions, and work hands‑on with engineering, product, data, and security teams to turn architecture into production.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain the AWS architecture roadmap aligned with business strategy.
• Lead greenfield projects from concept to production, including scope, design decisions, first implementations, and issue resolution.
• Design production‑grade AWS solutions covering compute, storage, networking, security, serverless and event‑driven patterns.
• Drive modernization programs such as on‑premise to AWS migration, monolith to microservices, and legacy transformation.
• Create and keep Architecture Decision Records, reference architectures and technical documentation.
• Design modern data platforms (data lake, lakehouse, ingestion, transformation, analytics) using AWS data services.
• Define architecture patterns for GenAI and agentic workloads, leveraging Amazon Bedrock and related services.

Required profile

• Extensive experience designing and operating large‑scale AWS environments.
• Proven track record delivering greenfield cloud projects end‑to‑end.
• Strong ownership mindset, pragmatic decision‑making and ability to unblock technical challenges.
• Experience collaborating with cross‑functional engineering, product, data and security teams.

• AWS (core services, IAM, VPC, CloudFormation/Terraform)
• Serverless and event‑driven architectures
• Data services: S3, Glue, Athena, Redshift, Lake Formation, EventBridge, Step Functions, Kinesis, MSK
• GenAI/AI services: Amazon Bedrock, Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) patterns
• Microservices design and migration from on‑premise systems
