Repossession Officer – Asset Recovery (Benin, Edo)

About the role

Koolboks is seeking a full‑time Repossession Officer to join its on‑site team in Benin, Edo State. The role focuses on recovering company assets from customers with overdue payments across Edo and neighboring states, supporting the company’s Cooling‑as‑a‑Service model.

Key responsibilities

• Locate clients with overdue accounts and assess each recovery situation.
• Retrieve company assets in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
• Maintain accurate, detailed records of each repossession activity.
• Provide feedback on customer interactions to help improve payment and service strategies.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams and other departments.

Required profile

• Minimum National Diploma or equivalent; additional certifications are a plus.
• Experience in asset recovery or a similar role is advantageous.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities for engaging with customers.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and handle conflict.
• Proficiency in the local language and familiarity with Nigeria’s South‑South region.
