Registered Nurse – Endoscopy Scheduling Coordinator

About the role

We are looking for a Remote Registered Nurse to join our growing endoscopy practice in Australia. The role starts with high‑volume administrative and patient‑coordination tasks and will evolve into more clinical coordination responsibilities, including procedural bookings and patient‑assessment support.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for inbound patient calls, explaining booking processes and providing guidance.
• Process referrals, input patient data into clinical software, and send/monitor secure intake forms.
• Schedule endoscopy procedures using Genie and Fydo systems once referrals are cleared.
• Review medical histories for red flags, escalate high‑risk cases to medical staff, and communicate pre‑procedure instructions.
• Maintain accurate hospital files, scan post‑procedure documentation, and ensure compliance with privacy requirements.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse with excellent telephone and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• High proficiency in typing and Microsoft Word.
• Knowledge of the Australian healthcare system and health funds is a strong advantage.
