Quality Excellence Engineer

About the role

As a Quality Excellence Engineer reporting to the Quality Excellence Manager, you will support quality assurance activities across yard and supplier qualification, internal and external audits, and early project tender stages. You will play a key role in driving continuous improvement and ensuring compliance with GEMS standards.

Key responsibilities

• Review quality assurance documentation for supplier and yard qualifications, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Provide feedback and recommendations for improvement.
• Plan and execute internal, certification, and qualification audits within GRS.
• Conduct follow‑up actions to close corrective actions in a timely manner.
• Analyze quality excellence performance and report status updates to meet department deadlines.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance departmental efficiency.
• Support organization‑wide improvement projects aligned with broader objectives.
• Ensure GEMS compliance and contribute to enhancement activities.
• Participate in independent quality investigations, identify root causes, and develop corrective action plans.
• Report findings and recommendations to the Quality Excellence Manager.

Required profile

• Experience in quality assurance, supplier and yard qualification, and audit execution.
• Strong analytical skills for performance monitoring and root‑cause analysis.
• Ability to develop and follow up on corrective action plans.
• Proactive attitude toward continuous improvement and compliance.
