MEAL Officer – WPE Programs

About the role

The International Rescue Committee is seeking a Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) Officer to support its Women’s Protection and Empowerment (WPE) programmes. Working under the supervision of the WPE MEAL Manager and in coordination with the MEAL Technical Unit in Yangon, the officer will ensure the MEAL system functions effectively across all WPE activities.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the WPE MEAL Manager in developing tools to measure programme outputs and outcomes.
• Ensure timely collection, accuracy and quality of monthly, quarterly and annual data in line with donor requirements.
• Conduct data quality audits and monitor partner/CSO data reports.
• Maintain safe data storage following IRC’s Data Management and Protection guidelines.
• Support the use of mobile data collection technologies and online dashboards for data visualization.
• Prepare, consolidate and circulate data collection, compilation and analysis reports for WPE activities.
• Reinforce adherence to GBV guiding principles throughout all MEAL activities.

Required profile

• Ability to work closely with WPE programme staff, partners and CSOs.
• Commitment to uphold gender‑based violence (GBV) principles in programme implementation.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure data quality.
