About the role

Damas Oil and Marine Services is seeking an experienced Marine Operations Manager to lead its maritime activities in Port Harcourt, Nigeria. This full‑time, on‑site position will ensure that vessel operations, logistics, and ship management align with the company’s safety standards and operational goals.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day marine operations and vessel scheduling.
• Coordinate logistics and resource allocation for offshore projects.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety protocols, and environmental standards.
• Supervise ship management teams and monitor performance.
• Develop and implement operational procedures to improve efficiency.

Required profile

• Minimum 20 years of experience in the offshore or marine industry.
• Proven leadership and team‑management capabilities.
• Relevant certifications or training in marine operations and management.
• Degree in Marine Engineering, Nautical Science, or a related field preferred.
