Manager, E-Commerce Web Analytics and Insights

About the role

The E‑Commerce Web Analytics and Insights Manager will lead the development of data‑driven insights for Holt Renfrew’s online store. Reporting to the DVP of Ecommerce, you will shape analytics practices, build performance dashboards and guide optimisation across the conversion funnel.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and maintain best‑in‑class web analytics practices for the organisation.
• Design and deliver dashboards covering e‑commerce performance, marketing metrics and user‑journey analysis.
• Identify gaps and opportunities in the customer journey and recommend enhancements to improve experience and KPI achievement.
• Detect data anomalies between digital storefront metrics and financial reporting and work with IT to resolve them.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders—including product, technology, category management and CRM—to provide actionable insights.
• Produce weekly performance recaps of the purchase funnel and deliver optimisation recommendations.
• Support data‑harmonisation projects to integrate omni‑channel browsing and purchase behaviour.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Mathematics, Statistics or a related field.
• 3–4 years of experience in e‑commerce or marketing analytics.
• Customer‑centric mindset with a strong data‑driven decision‑making approach.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Required skills

• Google Marketing Platform (including Google Analytics).
• Google Cloud Platform.
• SQL.
• JavaScript.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel, including macro coding.
• Experience with enterprise BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) – considered an asset.
• Familiarity with Customer Data Platforms (CDPs) – considered an asset.
