Maintenance Technician – Industrial Gas Production

About the role

Air Liquide Singapore is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support gas production equipment. You will ensure safe and optimal operation of compressors, motors, cryogenic pumps and related plant assets through preventive maintenance and troubleshooting.

Key responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and safety inspections on compressors, motors, cryogenic pumps and other production equipment.
• Carry out initial assessments and corrective troubleshooting during equipment faults or breakdowns.
• Conduct routine functional checks to detect abnormalities and support continuous improvement of production efficiency.
• Coordinate with engineers and the production team, maintain a clean work area and manage service documentation.
• Maintain maintenance records, checklists and calibration logs.
• Participate actively in HSE initiatives and efficiency improvement plans.

Required profile

• National ITE Certificate (NITEC) or Technical Diploma in mechanical/electrical engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant industry experience, preferably in gas, chemical or manufacturing environments.
• Willingness to be on 24/7 standby roster and work overtime as needed.
• Familiarity with safety, health and environment regulations.

Required skills

• Knowledge of compressors, motors and cryogenic pump operation.
• Preventive maintenance and troubleshooting techniques.
• Use of CMMS or similar maintenance management tools.
• Basic proficiency with Google Docs, Sheets and Slides.
