Inventory Officer

About the role

We are looking for an Inventory Officer to manage daily stock movements, maintain accurate records, and ensure efficient supply flow across the organisation. The role involves close collaboration with the F&B team and external suppliers to keep inventory levels optimal.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare purchase orders and receive, store, and issue inventories.
• Manage stock levels, distribute supplies, and maintain inventory records.
• Conduct quality and quantity checks on received inventory.
• Notify the team of new inventory arrivals and manage surplus or obsolete stock using FIFO and LIFO methods.
• Reconcile physical stock with system records and ensure proper arrangement for easy retrieval.
• Source suppliers, obtain quotes, and evaluate them for cost‑effective deals.
• Prepare reports on damaged, spoiled, or adjusted inventories.
• Supervise off‑loading, arrangement of merchandise, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Report stock levels and issues to the F&B Officer and perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• B.Sc. or HND in Accounting, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
• 2‑3 years of experience as an Inventory Officer.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management, storage methods, and ERP systems.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Professional attitude with good communication and problem‑solving skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP inventory management software.
• Experience using inventory tracking tools.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
