Hydropower Expert (Team Leader)

About the role

Surbanajurong is seeking a senior Hydropower Expert to lead the design, supervision and monitoring of large‑scale hydropower projects. The role combines technical engineering expertise with senior project management and team‑lead responsibilities across international sites.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the engineering design of hydropower facilities, ensuring compliance with civil and hydropower standards.
• Supervise construction activities and monitor project progress on multiple continents.
• Manage project contracts, budgets and schedules at a senior level.
• Provide technical assistance for ICB tender preparation and construction supervision.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (or higher) in Civil or Hydropower Engineering, with a Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in design, supervision and monitoring of hydropower projects.
• International experience on at least two continents.
• At least 5 years of senior‑level project management experience.
• Proven experience as a Team Leader on a comparable hydropower project.
