HSE & Quality Specialist – Grid Automation (Denmark)

About the role

Join Hitachi Energy's Grid Automation business in Denmark as an HSE & Quality Specialist. You will partner with operations and leadership to embed safety, environmental stewardship, and quality excellence across projects and sites.

Key responsibilities

• Coach, advise, and act as a change agent for HSE and Quality in daily operations.
• Ensure compliance with Danish and international HSE regulations, company policies, and management system requirements.
• Lead risk assessments, incident investigations, and root‑cause analyses, and implement corrective actions.
• Drive HSE & Quality programs, audits, inspections, and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Integrate ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 principles into operational processes.
• Develop and deliver training, awareness campaigns and emergency preparedness activities.
• Monitor HSE & Quality KPIs, prepare reports and use data to improve performance.

Required profile

• Relevant degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of HSE and/or Quality experience in industrial, construction, project or energy environments.
• Strong knowledge of Danish H&S legislation (Arbejdsmiljøloven) and AMK P & B certification.
• Fluency in Danish and English, with willingness to travel locally and internationally.
