HR People Partner – Data

About the role

ByteDance’s Data Team is looking for an HR People Partner to support its fast‑growing operations in Singapore. You will act as the primary HR liaison for the team, ensuring smooth employee lifecycle processes and fostering a positive work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop a deep understanding of business operations and provide people support aligned with priorities.
• Serve as a trusted bridge between employees, leaders, and strategic HRBPs.
• Manage day‑to‑day people operations: employee relations, onboarding, probation, internal transfers, mobility, contracts, intern and vendor management, regularization, and exits.
• Execute HR policies with HRBPs and escalate high‑risk or complex cases promptly.
• Design SOPs, optimise processes, and drive operational excellence initiatives.
• Support creation of metrics, dashboards, and data reviews to surface organisational issues.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams to ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, tax, and employment requirements in Singapore and Southeast Asia.
• Contribute to culture building and a productive working environment.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Human Resources or related functions.
• Experience in employee relations, onboarding, mobility, off‑boarding, training operations, performance support, or culture initiatives.
• Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Analytical and summarisation skills to identify issues and improve workflows.
• Familiarity with Singapore employment laws and labor regulations.
