Health, Safety & Environment Manager

About the role

Performance Motors Limited is seeking an experienced Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Manager to lead and embed HSE programmes across its Singapore operations. The role ensures regulatory compliance, supports safe daily operations, and cultivates a strong safety culture across multiple sites.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and maintain HSE management systems, policies and procedures aligned with group standards.
• Ensure compliance with Singapore regulatory requirements (MOM, SCDF, NEA, LTA).
• Perform Workplace Safety & Health Officer (WSHO) duties as required by MOM.
• Investigate incidents, near‑misses and occupational illnesses and produce detailed reports.
• Conduct audits, inspections, risk assessments and manage statutory submissions.
• Oversee contractor safety programmes, medical surveillance and industrial hygiene monitoring.
• Support fire safety, environmental compliance and facilities‑related activities.
• Coordinate safety training, inductions, drills and safety campaigns.
• Track HSE performance and prepare regular reports for management and group HSE.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Engineering, Environmental Management or a related field.
• Registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) with MOM, Singapore.
• 5–8 years of relevant HSE experience, preferably in industrial or multi‑site environments.
• Minimum 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore WSH legislation and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent coordination, communication and stakeholder management skills.

Required skills

• Registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) certification.
