Graduate – Financial Operations

About the role

You will join Checkout.com’s Graduate Programme to develop core operational and problem‑solving skills while working across the finance function. The role offers three distinct rotations over a year, giving you broad exposure before you specialise.

Key responsibilities

• Complete three finance‑related rotations to gain a holistic view of the finance umbrella.
• Help ensure complex financial processes previously managed in London run smoothly and efficiently from the Mauritius hub.
• Identify capacity and process challenges, collaborating with managers in Mauritius and London to provide visibility and resolve issues in real time.

Required profile

• Curious, motivated and innovative operations enthusiast.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Accounting or a similar quantitative field; ACCA or CFA candidates encouraged.
• Graduated within the last 12 months or expected to graduate by September 2026.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for international stakeholder collaboration.
• Proactive, reliable and able to provide regular updates without waiting for instructions.
• Eagerness to learn from experienced colleagues and be coached early in your career.
• Clear interest in accounting principles and the operational side of a global fintech finance department.
