Full-Time Pharmacist

About the role

We are looking for a full‑time pharmacist to join a locally owned community pharmacy. The pharmacist will be the primary point of contact for customers, providing medication counseling, dispensing prescriptions, and ensuring the pharmacy operates in compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Provide professional consultation to customers and health‑care providers, including counseling on prescriptions and over‑the‑counter products.
• Dispense medications accurately while maintaining patient confidentiality and privacy.
• Manage daily workflow, review “will call” bins, and monitor inventory, including expired stock and controlled substances.
• Communicate with other health‑care professionals to coordinate patient care.
• Maintain records in accordance with federal and provincial legislation and report controlled substances to Health Canada.
• Ensure the pharmacy environment reflects a professional image and complies with health‑and‑safety standards.
• Assist with financial reporting, store communications, and incident reporting as needed.
