About the role
The Front Store Manager leads the non‑pharmacy sections of a Shoppers Drug Mart location, ensuring an exceptional customer experience across cosmetics and other retail areas. Reporting to senior management, you will drive store performance, manage staff, and uphold brand standards.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain store standards to optimise customer experience and profitability.
- Oversee labour scheduling and use Work Force Management tools to maximise productivity.
- Hire, coach, and evaluate staff (excluding pharmacy) while fostering a culture aligned with core values.
- Analyse financial reports, set targets, and implement strategies to meet quarterly and annual goals.
- Manage inventory, control expenses, and ensure compliance with HR and operational policies.
Required profile
- Minimum 5 years of retail management experience.
- Proven ability to lead teams, drive sales, and implement corporate initiatives.
- Strong business and financial acumen with experience analysing performance data.
- Excellent interpersonal, coaching and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks quickly and adapt to changing initiatives.
