Financial Controller – Manufacturing & Big 4 Experience

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Financial Controller to join a listed global manufacturer’s finance team in Singapore. Reporting to the CFO, you will lead month‑end reporting, budgeting, forecasting and provide strategic financial insights across multiple Asian entities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead month‑end close and reporting for several entities in Asia.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and cash‑flow forecasting processes.
• Manage banking documentation, queries and relationships.
• Oversee secretarial, tax and statutory compliance, ensuring timely submissions.
• Liaise with banks, auditors and statutory bodies for accurate filings.
• Review and update finance policies and procedures to improve efficiency.
• Drive initiatives to enhance financial systems, processes and reporting accuracy.
• Collaborate with regional accounting and finance teams to ensure best practices.
• Coach and develop team members, fostering continuous learning.
• Lead projects that improve financial performance and operational excellence.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting.
• Minimum 12 years of relevant experience, including early years at a Big 4 firm and subsequent experience in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS standards and APAC tax regulations.
• Proven ability to influence senior management and contribute to strategic discussions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP ERP.
• Solid understanding of IFRS reporting standards.
