Export Manager – Africa & Middle East

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Export Manager to drive our client’s international expansion across Africa and the Middle East. You will lead market entry, build distributor networks, and unlock new revenue streams in high‑potential regions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute export strategies targeting Africa and the Middle East.
• Identify and penetrate new markets within the GCC and African regions.
• Build and manage relationships with distributors, agents, and key accounts.
• Lead pricing strategies, contract negotiations, and commercial agreements.
• Ensure compliance with regional food regulations and export laws.
• Manage export documentation, certifications, and shipping processes.
• Coordinate with supply‑chain teams for timely deliveries.
• Track market trends, competitor activities, and consumer demand.
• Achieve export sales, volume, and profitability targets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, International Trade or related field.
• 5–10 years of FMCG export experience, preferably in Africa or the Middle East.
• Strong understanding of market dynamics in the GCC and African regions.
• Expertise in export compliance, logistics and documentation.
• Excellent negotiation and relationship‑management skills.
