Designated Beauty Advisor (DBA) – Frederic Malle

About the role

The Designated Beauty Advisor (DBA) for Frederic Malle at Holt Renfrew builds lasting relationships with clients, driving sales and loyalty for the brand. You will act as the primary point of contact for customers, delivering exceptional service and representing the luxury beauty portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Consistently deliver extraordinary service to all customers.
• Achieve and exceed personal and brand sales targets.
• Develop a loyal client base through acquisition, development, and retention activities.
• Share expert product knowledge with the entire store selling team.
• Maintain strong relationships with buyers, vendors, and store management.
• Identify marketing opportunities, execute events, and provide assortment recommendations.
• Participate in all educational sessions, product knowledge seminars, and vendor trainings.
• Perform floor recovery, visual merchandising, price changes, and other sales support tasks.
• Communicate regularly with personal clients via phone, mail, and electronic methods.
• Resolve customer service issues and collaborate with management on escalations.

Required profile

• High school diploma.
• Proven ability to exceed sales targets.
• Minimum two years experience in a commission‑based sales environment.
• Retail sales experience as a product specialist in a luxury setting preferred.
• Highly collaborative, self‑motivated, and able to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Fully bilingual in French and English.
