Data Analytics Engineer

About the role

The International Rescue Committee is seeking a proactive Data Analytics Engineer to design, build and maintain its analytics and data ecosystem. You will work on reliable, scalable data pipelines and create Power Platform‑based solutions that drive insights across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain analytics‑ready datasets and data models for reporting, dashboards and advanced analytics.
• Develop and optimise data transformation logic to ensure performant and reliable outputs.
• Create curated analytics layers that enable consistent, reusable insights across teams.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data quality, performance and pipeline issues.
• Partner with business and technical stakeholders to translate analytical requirements into datasets, metrics and visualisations.
• Support ad‑hoc analysis and downstream consumption through reporting tools.
• Enable and support analytics‑driven solutions on Power BI, Power Apps and Power Automate, including data integrations and troubleshooting.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience in data modelling, transformation and analytics engineering.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python scripting.
• Ability to collaborate with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Experience translating business needs into structured datasets and Power Platform solutions.
