Civil Supervisor – Construction Projects

About the role

The Civil Supervisor will lead soil investigations, deep soil mixing (DSM) and all civil works on site, ensuring smooth handovers to equipment and electrical/mechanical teams. This role requires close coordination with the civil partner, logistics, and safety teams to deliver high‑quality civil infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise soil investigations and DSM activities.
• Oversee civil and non‑process works performed by the civil partner, including earthing, lightning protection, CCTV, HVAC, fire‑fighting systems, and more.
• Review and comment on method statements, procedures, construction sequences, ITPs and water‑tightness plans.
• Prepare handover plans, matrices, zoning plans and related documentation.
• Track progress, productivity and manpower metrics (excavation, concrete, piles, tests).
• Coordinate material delivery, storage, traffic management and logistics.
• Conduct daily site inspections, verify quality compliance, and issue SOR/NCR reports.
• Prepare weekly civil reports, progress curves and detailed BOQs.
• Supervise installation of underground networks (piping, electrical) and ensure safety compliance.
• Guide cadet engineers and assist in method‑statement and ITP preparation for underground piping.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising civil construction works on site.
• Strong ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders and manage handovers.
• Knowledge of safety standards and ability to work with HSE managers.
• Capability to prepare technical documentation and progress trackers.
