Case Coordination Caseworker – Refugee Services

About the role

The International Rescue Committee seeks a dedicated Case Coordination Caseworker to provide trauma‑informed support to refugees and other ORR‑qualified immigrants. You will help clients develop self‑sufficiency plans and connect them with essential services.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct intake interviews, assess needs, and create Family Self‑Sufficiency Plans (FSSPs) and Individual Employability Plans (IEPs).
• Provide direct support, referrals, and advocacy to remove barriers to stability and employment.
• Guide clients in accessing culturally and linguistically appropriate community services.
• Maintain a manageable caseload, handling benefits applications and follow‑up services.
• Document all client interactions, enter data accurately into case management systems, and ensure compliance with IRC policies and donor requirements.
• Collaborate with service providers, community organizations, and volunteers to strengthen referral networks.
• Participate in case conferences, outreach activities, and preparation of donor reports as needed.
