Beauty Advisor – Luxury Skincare

About the role

The Beauty Advisor will represent the La Prairie brand within Holt Renfrew, building lasting relationships with clients and driving sales of luxury skincare products. This position offers a dynamic, fashion‑driven environment where you can develop deep product expertise and deliver exceptional service.

Key responsibilities

• Provide extraordinary, personalized service to every customer.
• Achieve and exceed individual and brand sales targets.
• Develop a loyal client base through acquisition, development, and retention activities.
• Share expert product knowledge with the wider store team.
• Maintain relationships with buyers, vendors, and store management.
• Identify marketing opportunities, support events, and recommend assortments.
• Participate in all product‑knowledge and vendor training sessions.
• Execute floor recovery, visual merchandising, price changes, and other sales support tasks.
• Communicate regularly with clients via phone, email, and mail regarding events, requests, and follow‑ups.
• Resolve customer service issues and collaborate with management on escalations.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum two years of experience in a commission‑based sales environment.
• Proven ability to exceed sales targets.
• Strong collaborative mindset and ability to work in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented setting.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Make‑up artistry or aesthetics certification may be required for certain brands.

Required skills

• Product knowledge of luxury skincare and cosmetics.
• Visual merchandising and floor recovery techniques.
• Effective client communication across phone, email, and mail.
