Assistant Manager

About the role

The Assistant Manager will support the Unit Manager in delivering high‑quality operational services across the Global Business Sector. This role ensures efficient execution of unit deliverables, manages client relationships and helps mitigate operational risks.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Unit Manager with all operational aspects of unit deliverables.
• Oversee, review and monitor work performed by unit members, including timesheet management and capacity planning.
• Provide regular updates on operational performance to senior management.
• Identify training needs and communicate them to senior management.
• Conduct customer due diligence (CDD) in line with AML regulations and maintain updated records.
• Attend internal and external client meetings, review minutes and follow‑up on actions.
• Sign off on bank account openings and ensure banking transactions align with company scope.
• Review board packs, shareholder resolutions and corporate documentation for accuracy.
• Manage incorporation, restructuring, merger, re‑domiciliation, transfer and winding‑up processes with relevant authorities.
• Maintain strong client relationships, ensuring service delivery meets high standards and deadlines.
• Conduct regular team meetings to track objectives and performance.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of business risks within the Global Business Sector and a risk‑minimisation mindset.
• Ability to proactively identify operational risks and recommend mitigation actions.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and compliance.
• Effective communication skills for client interaction and internal coordination.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
