Yacht Crew and Operations Specialist

About the role

The Yacht Crew and Operations Specialist ensures seamless crew management, financial administration, and regulatory compliance for a luxury yacht operating out of Monaco. Acting as the primary liaison between the crew, Captain, and management, this role supports crew welfare, payroll, travel logistics, and budget oversight.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate crew scheduling, onboarding, and off‑boarding, including contracts, visas, and travel arrangements.
• Process payroll, manage crew expenses, and prepare financial reports.
• Maintain up‑to‑date crew certifications (STCW) and ensure compliance with maritime and flag‑state regulations.
• Oversee the vessel’s annual budget, negotiate renewals, and monitor performance against financial targets.
• Provide first‑line support for crew queries, welfare issues, and career guidance.
• Update crew records in the Vessel Management System (VMS) and ensure data quality for audits.
• Assist HSSEQ teams in accident investigations and implementation of corrective actions.

Required profile

• Proven experience in crew management, HR, or maritime operations.
• Strong knowledge of maritime regulations, STCW standards, and flag‑state requirements.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage budgets and financial reporting.
• Effective communication skills to liaise with crew, captains, and senior management.
